Connectivity

Getting connected to TOM is very straightforward. The TOM trading platform (Nasdaq OMX system) is located in Stockholm, Sweden at the Lunda Data Centre (Finspångsgatan 25-27, 163 53 Spånga, Sweden) and a DR site is available at the OMX office (Tullvaktsvägen 15, 105 78 Stockholm, Sweden). There are several options for getting access to the TOM MTF platform.

Economical VPN Connections provide you with an affordable way to get access. If more robustness is required, connection via a Managed Financial Service Extranets may be an excellent approach. For high volumes trading leased lines are possible. If ultra low latency is required co-location is an option. TOM MTF offers members the choice to select the connection possibility of their choice.

Members can gain easy access through the following possibilities:

• Nasdaq OMX native API (Genium INET)
• Connectivity via FIX (including drop copy service)
• Via Independent software vendor (ISV).

Members gain easy access through Nasdaq OMX open API. Although TOM MTF does not offer FIX connectivity at the moment, several ISVs can offer this service (see below). Connectivity or set-up is free of charge.
